Guest teacher Sharon Czekala of Great Lakes Natural Soap Co demonstrates how to create stained glass soaps with a combination of cold process and melt and pour soap base.  Infinitely customizable for any design or message on the soap – even if you can’t draw!

You will be expected to have experience with cold-process soapmaking as well as complete understanding of the correct handling and usage of lye/sodium hydroxide before proceeding.

Included in downloadable tutorial: 3-part video showing how the soap in the photo was made, written instructions, helpful tips and tricks, and links to inspiration for your own project.

Skills You Will Practice: Controlling trace, consistent piping, using melt and pour soap base

Special Tools Needed: Water soluble paper is helpful, but not required. You will also need crystal clear melt and pour soap base or transparent soap made from scratch, and a small piping bag and tip with a small hole (Wilton #3).
