Drop Swirls

Drop swirls are made by pouring alternating colors of soap in lines down the length of a loaf-style mold. They are one of the classic design techniques and can be easily scaled up to large batches. This tutorial will explore many different variations from regular drop swirls to mini drop swirls to fully suspended drop swirls as well as drop swirls with outlines and other techinique combinations.
You will be expected to have experience with cold-process soapmaking as well as complete understanding of the correct handling and usage of lye/sodium hydroxide before proceeding.
