Guest teacher Amy Bautista of Elysian Acres Soap shares her original technique for creating a buffalo plaid design in soap!  Perfect for a fall themed soap.

You will be expected to have experience with cold-process soapmaking as well as complete understanding of the correct handling and usage of lye/sodium hydroxide before proceeding.

Included in downloadable tutorial: 4-part video tutorial showing how the soap in the photo was made using a slab cutter, plus one other soap made with a single wire cutter.  Also written instructions, helpful tips and tricks – including a short bonus video, and inspiration for your own project.

Skills You Will Practice: Recognizing and controling trace, color blending, and working with embeds.

Special Tools Needed: A slab cutter is recommended, but not necessary. Clear acrylic loaf molds are also helpful, but not necessary.
